SKIPMOREは、大阪を拠点に活動する個人のインディーゲームスタジオです。ユウラボさんはゲームの原案、ディレクション、ゲームデザイン、レベルデザイン、アート、シナリオ、サウンドなど、プログラム以外のほぼすべてを手がけるマルチクリエイターで、ドット絵ゲームを中心に数多くの作品を世に送り出してきました。
SKIPMORE is a solo indie game studio based in Osaka, Japan. Yulabo is a multi-talented creator who handles nearly everything except programming — including original concept, direction, game design, level design, art, scenario, and sound. The studio has released numerous games, with a focus on pixel art titles.

Yulabo's game development history dates back to the era of Flash games for feature phones, and they have been creating pixel art games for over 20 years. The browser game version of "Fairune," released in 2009, later expanded to smartphones, Nintendo 3DS, and PS Vita, becoming the catalyst that brought SKIPMORE wide recognition. "KAMIKO," released on Nintendo Switch in 2017, became a major hit with over 250,000 copies sold on the Switch alone. Since then, Yulabo has continued to release titles across a variety of genres, including the Metroidvania title "Transiruby" and the slow-life adventure "Picontier."

- Connection
SKIPMOREさんとの繋がりは『フェアルーン』がきっかけでした。『フェアルーン』はハイドライドへのオマージュが込められた作品で、そのご縁から連絡を取り合うようになりました。名古屋と大阪という比較的近い距離にいたことも、少なからず関係しています。
The connection with SKIPMORE began through "Fairune." As a game created with homage to Hydlide, it gave us a reason to get in touch with each other. The fact that we were based in relatively nearby cities — Nagoya and Osaka — also played a part in building that relationship.『XeGrader for PC-8001mkII』では、『1-Bit Rogue』のドット絵をXeGraderに流用して使うことを快諾して頂きました。そこから少しずつSKIPMOREさんの役割は大きくなっていき、MSX2版ではマップのドット絵を完全にオリジナルで起こし直してもらいました。
For "Origin XeGrader," SKIPMORE graciously allowed us to use pixel art from "1-Bit Rogue" within XeGrader. From there, SKIPMORE's role gradually grew. For the MSX2 version, Yulabo completely redrew the map pixel art from scratch as original work.
その制作の中で、ユウラボさんから「時間さえあれば、もっとクオリティを上げられるのに」という一言がありました。この言葉が心に残り、新たにSteam版として開発を決めた際に、今度は正式に仕事としてドット絵の作成をお願いできないかと内藤からオファーしました。ユウラボさんにはこれを快く引き受けて頂き、現在に至ります。
During that process, Yulabo mentioned, "If only I had more time, I could raise the quality even further." Those words stayed with me. When we decided to develop a new Steam version, I (Naito) formally offered SKIPMORE paid commission work for the pixel art creation. Yulabo kindly accepted the offer, and that is how we arrived at where we are today.
こうして『XeGrader plus』のArcadeモードに登場するピクセルアートは、すべてユウラボさんによる完全新規の描き下ろしになったのです。
